Important Disclaimers & Store Policies

At Exquisite Designs Home Décor, we uphold high standards in both craftsmanship and customer care. Please review the policies below before placing your order.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase.
After 24 hours, cancellation requests may be denied or charged a 15% restocking fee.

If your order has already shipped, it cannot be canceled.
To request a cancellation, email: support@exquisitedesignshomedecor.com. 

Discount Codes

Discount codes must be applied at checkout. Once an order is placed, we’re unable to add or adjust discount codes retroactively.

Packages Returned to Sender

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, you may:

  • Pay for reshipment, or

  • Receive a refund minus a 15% restocking fee

Please double-check your address at checkout to avoid delays.

Shipping Protection

We offer optional package protection through SavedBy to cover lost, stolen, or damaged orders.
If you added SavedBy at checkout and need to file a claim, contact our support team so we can assist with a replacement or refund.

For damaged items, photos are required:

  • Item inside box

  • Item outside box

  • Top, bottom & sides of box

  • Shipping label with tracking

Claims must be submitted within 72 hours (3 days) of delivery.
Exquisite Designs Home Décor is not liable for lost/damaged packages if SavedBy is declined at checkout.

Arrival Dates

We do our best to ensure orders arrive within the estimated delivery timeframe.
Delays may occur due to carrier or customs processing.
We do not offer monetary compensation for late delivery.

Delivery Issues

Once an order ships, the carrier is responsible for the package.
We are not liable for:

  • Carrier delays

  • Misrouted packages

  • Lost or stolen deliveries

If tracking shows “Delivered” but you did not receive the package, please file a claim directly with the carrier.
For high-risk areas, you may request signature required delivery or purchase SavedBy protection.

International Orders

International orders are non-refundable.
Customers are responsible for all customs fees, duties, and taxes.
Customs may hold your package until fees are paid. If unpaid, the package will be returned to us. We cannot control or predict customs charges.

What is a customs fee?

  • A customs duty is a tariff or tax on the importation of goods. Commercial goods not yet cleared through customs are held in a customs area, often called a bonded store, until processed. All applicable custom fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • Customs is an authority or agency in a country responsible for collecting and safeguarding customs duties and for controlling the flow of goods including animals, transports, personal effects and hazardous items in and out of a country.

Color & Finish Variations

Due to natural materials, craftsmanship, and lighting conditions, slight variations may occur in: color, finish, texture, dye lot. These variations are not considered defects—they are part of the product’s unique character.

Returns

If you’re not fully satisfied, eligible items may be returned within 10 days of delivery.
A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns.

You must contact us within 3 days of delivery to report any issues.
Email support@exquisitedesignshomedecor.com to check return eligibility before sending anything back.
Items returned without authorization will not be accepted.

If a late return arrives and you want it back, you will need to cover return shipping.

    Exchanges

    To exchange an item, start by submitting a return. Once approved and processed, we’ll ship the item you want.

    Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items

    These items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

    • International orders
    • Final Sale / Clearance / Imperfect items
    • Pillow covers & inserts (personal-use items)
    • Fragile materials (glass, ceramic, mirrors)

    Issues & Damages

    If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us immediately.
    We will request photos/videos to determine next steps.
    Replacements are issued first; refunds are granted only when a replacement is not possible. Damage claims must be submitted within 72 hours (3 days) of delivery.

    Refunds

    Returned items are inspected upon receipt. Refunds may be reduced or denied if the item:

    • Shows wear

    • Arrives damaged

    • Is missing components

    • Does not meet return criteria

    Restocking fees for improper returns range from 20–50%.

    Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3-5 business days after inspection. Shipping fees (original and return) are non-refundable. We recommend adding tracking or insurance to return shipments.
