Shipping Policy

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Please note, order cancellations must be requested within 24 hours of the order being placed. Any cancellation requested after 24 hours is subject to denial, or a 15% restocking fee. To cancel your order, please email us at support@exquisitedesignshomedecor.com. However, if your order has been marked shipped, it cannot be canceled.

PROCESSING & SHIPPING

All orders are processed and shipped out within 1-3 business days from the date your order was placed between Monday-Friday (excluding weekends & holidays). After your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification with the tracking number. Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking information to be updated.

For international orders, packages are delivered within 7-14 days from the date of shipment. 

We use major carriers and local courier partners like USPS, UPS, and FEDEX.

ARRIVAL DATES

Exquisite Designs Home Décor does its best to assure that your order arrives within the quoted delivery time frame. If an unforeseen delay occurs, we will do our best to notify you in advance, however we do not provide monetary compensation for late delivery.

SHIPPING PROTECTION

We offer InsureShield® Shipping Insurance by UPS Capital 

InsureShield Shipping Insurance is a package protection solution that helps cover your order in the event that your order gets lost, stolen, or damaged while in transit. We know how frustrating it is to have something happen to your order, so we’ve partnered with UPS Capital to offer added assurance that you’re supported, no matter what. InsureShield Shipping Insurance can be added during checkout. If you purchased InsureShield Shipping Insurance with your order and your package ends up damaged, lost, or stolen, simply reach out to our support team and we'll ensure that your order gets replaced or refunded.

When reporting a damaged order, please be sure to provide photos of the damaged merchandise inside the box, damaged item outside of the box, top and 2 sides of the box, bottom and the opposite sides of the box, and the shipping label on the box with tracking number visible. All claims must be submitted within 72 hours or 3 days of delivery. Any claims made after that timeframe will not be accepted.

Exquisite Designs Home Décor is exempt of liability if the customer opts out of InsureShield® Shipping Insurance.

By completing a purchase with us you are agreeing to our full shipping and delivery policy.

ISSUES AND DAMAGES

If an item arrives with a manufacturing defect or damage caused in transit, please contact us immediately at support@exquisitedesignshomedecor.com. Please note that we do not automatically issue a refund on damaged item(s) but only replacement. We reserve the right to send a replacement for any damaged item(s) before issuing a refund. We will ask for photos and/or videos to determine the best course of action (e.g. replacement, exchange, or refunds). We will ask you to provide photos of the damaged merchandise inside the box, damaged item outside of the box, top and 2 sides of the box, bottom and the opposite sides of the box, and the shipping label on the box with tracking number visible. All claims must be submitted within 72 hours or 3 days of delivery. Any claims made after that timeframe will not be accepted.

DELIVERY ISSUES

Please note that Exquisite Designs Home Décor is not responsible for shipping carrier delays, misrouted, lost, or stolen packages. Once a package is shipped out, we no longer have control over how it's being handled by the shipping carrier. If your package shows delivered, but you have not received it, please reach out to the shipping carrier that was used to ship your order in order to file a claim. Due to privacy concerns, we cannot reach out to the shipping carriers on behalf of the customer. If you live in an area with a high risk of package theft, please reach out to us when you place your order to request a "signature required" delivery.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

International orders are not refundable and customers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Custom authorities require that we state the value of your order directly on your package. We are not responsible for delays due to customs.

WHAT IS A CUSTOMS FEE?

  • A customs duty is a tariff or tax on the importation of goods. Commercial goods not yet cleared through customs are held in a customs area, often called a bonded store, until processed. All applicable custom fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • Customs is an authority or agency in a country responsible for collecting and safeguarding customs duties and for controlling the flow of goods including animals, transports, personal effects and hazardous items in and out of a country.
  • As far as customs charges, we DO NOT have any control over them, nor know what the charges will be if any. The customs fees are based per your government regulations.

If your package is being held by customs, that means you need to pay the custom fees in order to retrieve your package. If you don't, the package will be returned to us. 

WILL MY ORDER COME IN ONE PACKAGE?

Depending on the size of your order you may receive separate packages that may possibly arrive 1-2 business days apart.

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

Although we try to have a stock level that will keep up with expected demand, certain items that are highly popular can sometimes run out of stock. Unfortunately we will not be able to provide timelines for when a specific item will be available again. As stocks continuously change and new products are always being added, please continue to check in to see if we have restocked your desired item or another style like it.

BACKORDERED ITEMS

In the event that any of your items are out of stock, we will send you an email to let you know when we expect to have the items shipped out by. If the items are not expected to be restocked within 2 weeks, we will just automatically refund you for those items.

ADDRESS CHANGES

Notice an error or would like your address changed? Please notify us ASAP via either Facebook, Instagram, or email. In your message, please provide us with your name and order # so we can try to catch your package before it departs our facilities. Please bear in mind that once the order has been shipped out, we cannot alter the shipping process.
